In warehouses today, the reality is far from the glossy brochures. One of our colleagues, working on the floor, saw firsthand how  “autonomous” systems fail the moment something unexpected happens. A shelf is moved, a pallet is damaged, or the layout changes slightly, and the system stops. These systems only work under ideal conditions, but warehouses rarely are. And since most companies cannot afford the costly rebuilding needed to create those perfect conditions, they are left to operate manually, stuck with high costs, bottlenecks and unsafe work. The market is desperate for automation that can adapt to reality, not the other way around.

The solution

We are developing an autonomous, plug and play forklift that requires no rebuilding or costly infrastructure. It navigates freely, identifies pallets reliably and adapts to real warehouse conditions. With modular add ons, customers can start small and scale as their needs grow, making advanced automation flexible, cost effective and accessible to all.

Why is this important?

Warehouse operation is still manual

Around 80 percent of warehouses are still operated fully manually, with no automation in place.

Great automation potential

By 2027, only 26 percent of warehouses worldwide are expected to be automated. The majority will still handle pallets manually, leading to high labor costs, accidents and operational bottlenecks.

Growth rate

The European warehouse automation market is valued at 4.9 billion USD in 2025, with an expected annual growth rate of 14.4 percent.

Uncover our red flags.

  • One challenge is limited financing to scale and reach our full vision. Another is our limited international connections, where the right investor could play a key role in opening doors and accelerating traction.

Uncover our green flags.

Our modular design lets one system expand with add ons instead of replacing machines. We are truly plug and play, requiring no rebuilding, rails, or barcodes to operate. Our adaptive navigation and pallet recognition keep working when layouts shift or pallets are imperfect, while most competitors stop. And we make automation accessible for smaller warehouses without losing the scalability larger facilities need.

Background and motivation

What motivates us is that we have worked with advanced technology for years, yet we keep seeing the same problem repeated: adoption is slow, and many solutions are built for perfect scenarios that do not exist. They fail in real life, and smaller businesses are left behind because only large enterprises can afford to adapt. We started Rolog Solutions because we want to change this reality. Our drive is to create automation that is not only advanced, but also practical, flexible and accessible so that it works in the messy, real world where companies actually operate.
