Imagine a classroom where coding is on the curriculum, but the teacher feels unprepared, the students feel overwhelmed, and the tools are either too childish or too advanced. Europe’s children are required to learn programming – yet the pathway from beginner to advanced coder is fragmented, leaving many behind.

The solution

Dodjin is a browser-based learning platform where children learn coding through game creation. It grows with the learner: starting with tutorials and block programming, moving into text-based coding, and later AI-assisted coding. Built on our own language MORTAL, Dodjin ensures continuity – one language, one journey, from beginner to advanced.

Why is this important?

  • Only 44% of EU citizens have basic digital skills (European Commission).

  • Programming is now mandatory in schools across Europe, yet most teachers report low confidence in teaching it.

  • The global edtech market has a value of: €350 billion (2025).

Access to 200 schools via muncipal agreements

Dodjin tested by 1,000 students

Grades 4-10

1,000 students to be onboarded this fall

Dodjin has been tested with 1,000 students across Norway (grades 4–10) with enthusiastic feedback from both pupils and teachers.

We have a pilot partnership with Montessori Waterpark, and access to 200 schools in Norway via municipal agreements.

Our upcoming rollout will onboard another 1,000 students this fall.

Why Dodjin?

While other platforms focus either on playful block coding or advanced text coding, Dodjin uniquely combines both in one lifelong journey. With multilingual support, collaboration mode, and a custom-built programming language (MORTAL), Dodjin is not just a tool – it’s a gateway to democratizing coding globally.

  • We love STEM, and we love to code. But more than that, we believe programming should be fun, intuitive, and accessible to all. Our vision is to revolutionize the way programming is taught—transforming it from a barrier into an opportunity.

    Our motivation

  • We are deeply motivated by the chance to see children everywhere, including underserved communities, gain the digital skills they need to thrive in tomorrow’s world. Watching kids light up when they realize they can create with code is what drives us forward.

What’s in it for the investor?

Investors gain entry into a rapidly growing EdTech market with strong EU policy tailwinds. With Dodjin, there’s potential for significant ROI through scaling in Europe and beyond. Added bonus: With Innovation Norway and European Innovation Council interested in this project, the investor can get a strategic value journey pre-EIC to post-EIC, with attractive returns even before full commercialization.
