Kling is the first Norwegian friendship app designed by and for women. The platform makes it easy to meet people you genuinely connect with through shared interests, groups and activities. We soft-launched Kling in summer 2025. After just two months, more than 1,200 women had joined – with zero marketing spend. Already, women across Norway have formed new friendships and started activities together through Kling. The traction is clear: the need is real and the solution resonates.

Background

The idea for Kling came when I moved to a new city, knowing no one. Months went by filled with quiet evenings and lonely weekends. When I finally found friends I truly connected with, it happened almost by accident. I realized millions of women face the same struggle. We built Kling to change that.

(CEO) leads the company with years of experience in marketing, communication and public health. She drives the vision and strategy for Kling, making sure growth and branding align with social impact.
(CPO) heads product and design. With a background in user experience and frontend development, she creates a product that feels intuitive, engaging and designed to foster real connections.
(CTO) is our system architect and backend developer. She has led complex technology projects and is responsible for Kling’s technical foundation, building a platform that is scalable, secure and future-ready.
